Why a preservative?
A preservative is an absolute MUST in a formula with herbs and water, as herbs are notorious for growing mold in water without a preservative and it would only hold up for about 3 days maximum refrigerated without a preservative. The preservative allows the product to be shelf stable so that you may safely use your product.

Specs:
Look: The substance is a translucent, milky white or off-white color (it may darken slightly over time). The Regular Unscented (not pictured here) will be a lot clearer, less milky looking and very translucent.
Scent: (Regular) The smell is slightly sour and characteristic of fermented rice, but may also contain a touch of sweetness and be mildly herbal, depending on the formula you choose.
Scent: (Scented) Fragranced Rice water out of the bottle- you will still smell a bit of the “ferment” scent, which will fade over time as it evaporates, leaving behind more of the fragrance. So try not to judge the smell until you have given it time to evaporate a bit. Fragrance will depend upon the one you choose, but generally fragrance/parfum is going to be much stronger/more noticeable than natural fragrance. Natural fragrance compounds used have a bit of a “powdery” after-scent.

African (dry/curly) hair to Caucasian hair (straight). This balm is made with organic shea butter and beeswax with a blend of pure olive and castor oil, which chock full of antioxidants, and discourages dry scalp. It also includes the finest quality of concentrated rosemary, tea tree and our special Growth Booster blend of essential oils**. The rosemary in our oil works in a multitude of ways to promote longer, more luscious locks: helps condition the hair and moisturize scalp. The tea tree was included because of its reputation for encouraging a clear, clean scalp. What's the difference between Super Concentrated and Regular Formula?: Regular formula is Super Concentrated diluted by half with Olive oil to make it more affordable. How do you use it? I am excited to try this. It came nicely packaged and directions on how to use the product are right on the bottle…which is very convenient! I bought the vanilla cocoa one and it smells so good…not overpowering, but subtle.
Just received on 6/6/20. I haven’t tried it yet. So as soon as I try it and see results, I will post an update.
Doesn’t smell scary at all which was my fear of using fermented rice water. Very quick shipping and processing times. Thank you!
