I make this blend using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. I use real cow’s milk (for the vitamins) and coconut meat. I add all 10 Ayurvedic herbs imported from India and infuse. The finished product is a creamy greenish-brown semi-solid oil. The oil does have a low melting point and will become liquid at 76 degrees F (24 C). It will still be okay to use, but if it bothers you, simply pop the container into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or so until the oil is solid again. The green does not permanently color or stain hair, however, if you use hair color, please patch test on a small piece of hair before using on your whole head, as some people claim coconut oil may dull their hair dye job.
How to use: you may use this to lubricate your scalp and hair, as often as you like. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing, so it’s best to apply the oil before you get dressed or in clothes you don’t mind getting stained. You may also choose to put the oil on before bed and wash out in the morning, or leave it in for up to one week. You also may have good results by oiling your hair at night and "baggy-ing" it – meaning you put a plastic bag or shower cap on your hair, and cover that with a scarf. In the morning you can wash your hair and style as normal.
You may melt this oil by setting it down in a bowl with an inch of hot water in it. You may microwave the water, but never microwave the container of oil itself. Be very careful not to get water into the container as this can cause mold/bacteria to form.

To Use: You simply shake well, then apply a small amount to your fingertips (a little goes a long way, so no need to oversaturate!), and massage it into your scalp with the pads of your fingers for 2-3 minutes, 3-4 times per week. You massage the scalp each day, even when not using oil. After applying oil, you should start to feel some slight tingling in your scalp within the first 5 minutes. After applying to scalp, you may gently brush hair from scalp to ends of hair to distribute the product evenly throughout your hair. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment before washing out. If you have drier hair (as found in most African types of hair) you may leave this in, but you should wash your hair at least once a week. It is concentrated so a little goes a long way. A four ounce bottle should last about 1-3 months depending on amount used and how often the oil is used. A: It may help make hair appear thicker as it re-grows from breakage and damage. Some people's individual hairs are fine and others' are coarse. My product, as wonderful as it is, will not change your genetic structure, cause the individual hairs to be permanently thicker or create more hair follicles on your head - no known topical treatment can.
