I make the oil part of this conditioner using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. I use real cow's milk (for the vitamins) and fresh coconut meat from a whole coconut I crack open myself (never pre-shredded or pre-prepared coconut). The finished product is a a green tinted clear oil which is blended with purified water and emulsifier to produce this creamy, effective conditioner. I recommend you use it 3-4x per week, massage it in to scalp well for a couple of minutes and it can be used with the inversion method in which you bend at your waist, pointing your head downward whilst massaging the oil into your scalp (but only use the inversion method has been deemed safe for you by a physician- some people have conditions that may be aggravated by doing it).
