The stars of this serum are Jamaican Black castor oil (which is rich in Omega fatty acids and world famous for its growth boosting and hair pampering benefits) and coffee essential oil, which is the main active ingredient in a plethora of oils, shampoos and other products that promote growth. peppermint and rosemary essential oils were added to boost this oil to be even more powerful.

Directions: Apply a few drops of oil to clean, dry fingers and massage into dry scalp for 2-3 minutes, 3-4 times per week. For best results, wrap hair in scarf and leave in overnight at minimum (oily hair); oil may be left in for longer, however we do recommend washing out of hair at least once every week (dry hair).
For best results you can pair this with the Inversion method (but only if safe for you to do! Please read all health warnings and consult Physician before attempting) and the GHE or Green House Effect, and stop all use of excessively tight braids and other styles that put stress on edges.

I make this blend using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. This is vegan, made without animal products. The finished product is a beautiful, greenish tinted oil that does not color or stain hair. What can you do with this oil: Hot oil deep conditioning Daily scalp massage Use in daily styling Use on ends to protect against dryness and breakage Specs: translucent green-brown colored oil- it is fractionated so that it stays liquid. Comes in a squeezable plastic bottle with a spout for easy application to the scalp. This oil is on the lightweight/thinner side. How to use: you may use this to condition your scalp and hair, as often as you like. *All bottles contain 4 fluid ounces, so you will get every drop you paid for, but bottles will not be filled to the top. For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing, so it's best to apply the oil before you get dressed or in clothes you don't mind getting stained. You may also choose to put the oil on before bed and wash out in the morning, or leave it in for up to one week. HAIR DYE/HAIR COLORING NOTE: for those that color their hair - while I have not noticed any loss of hair coloring while using this product, some people have reported that coconut oil in general causes their hair color to fade, while others report no issues at all. I believe the affect would vary between different brands, types and shades of hair coloring, so I have no way to guarantee that it will not affect your specific color. If you choose to try the product, please try a patch test on a small piece of hair before doing the whole head, or see our sample listing and order a couple of sample of this first to see how it may affect your hair coloring. A Little Goes A Long Way: If you apply it to your scalp only, one 4 oz bottle can last approximately 2-3 months. Over time and with regular use, you should see noticeably stronger, more beautiful hair. So how long will it take to work? That depends on the type and condition of your hair, state of health, diet, etc. (see our FAQ's for more info). ULTRA is DOUBLE the Strength of Super Concentrated Formula and is extremely dark colored and a bit harder to scent with fragrance. You can apply this full strength or dilute it by half or more with plain coconut oil to get Super concentrated oil or regular strength and save a little money than buying them separately. Super Concentrated is 1/2 the concentration of ULTRA, but double the concentration of regular. It is our most popular of the three offering a high concentration at an accessible price. The green does not color or stain hair, however, if you use hair color, please patch test on a small piece of hair before using on your whole head, as some people claim coconut oil may dull their hair color. How to use: you may use this to lubricate your scalp and hair, as often as you like. How to use: For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing, so it's best to apply the oil before you get dressed or in clothes you don't mind getting stained.
