Texture: Medium thick and VERY soft and flowing.Much softer and more fluid than petroleum jelly.

To Use:
Directions: with clean, dry hands, apply a fingertip amount of product to scalp or hair at a time; repeat as needed 3-4 times per week. Recommended: Clarify Scalp/Hair at least once weekly.
After applying, you may gently brush hair from scalp to ends of hair to distribute the product evenly throughout your hair. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment (concentrating on your ends) before washing it out, but you only need a tiny bit, like a quarter sized amount – use too much and it may be harder to wash it completely out. If you have drier hair (as found in types 3 and 4 hair) you may leave this in, but it is recommended that you should wash your hair/scalp at least once a week to clarify hair follicles.
A four ounce jar may last about 1-3 months depending on amount used and how often the product is used.

It is a great hair clarifier that when used as directed, can seal and smooth down the rough cuticles on the hair shaft which results in glossy hair. Simply pour the rinse (diluted with water as directed) through the hair and scalp after washing, and then rinse out with cool water. **Not for use on color treated hair - vinegar rinse does not strip permanent hair dye, but it can change the shade. Rinse was diluted, added to the hair, then rinsed out with cold water and air dried. For example, one may be losing hair due to a vitamin deficiency or hormonal imbalance. I make the oil part of this conditioner using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. I use real cow's milk (for the vitamins) and fresh coconut meat from a whole coconut I crack open myself (never pre-shredded or pre-prepared coconut). I add all 10 Ayurvedic herbs imported from India and cook it down until complete. The finished product is a a green tinted clear oil which is blended with purified water and emulsifier to produce this creamy, effective conditioner. How to use: Apply to freshly washed hair, working through hair from roots to ends. Let conditioner on for 2-5 minutes, then rinse out of hair with cool water and style as desired. What can you do with this oil: Hot oil deep conditioning Daily scalp massage Use in daily styling Use on ends to protect against dryness and breakage Specs: translucent green-brown colored oil- it is fractionated so that it stays liquid. Comes in a squeezable plastic bottle with a spout for easy application to the scalp. This oil is on the lightweight/thinner side. How to use: you may use this to condition your scalp and hair, as often as you like. *All bottles contain 4 fluid ounces, so you will get every drop you paid for, but bottles will not be filled to the top. For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing, so it's best to apply the oil before you get dressed or in clothes you don't mind getting stained. You may also choose to put the oil on before bed and wash out in the morning, or leave it in for up to one week. HAIR DYE/HAIR COLORING NOTE: for those that color their hair - while I have not noticed any loss of hair coloring while using this product, some people have reported that coconut oil in general causes their hair color to fade, while others report no issues at all. I believe the affect would vary between different brands, types and shades of hair coloring, so I have no way to guarantee that it will not affect your specific color.
