This HYPER version of our EdgeGenesis product contains a generous helping of Ostrich oil to help pamper and support stronger, healthier edges. The Ultra formula contains the same ingredients, except for Ostrich oil (We list both options on this listing in case you are interested in one or both formulas, so make your selection from the drop-down menu for whichever formula you are interested in.). Not recommended for low porosity hair (Why? Please see specs below).
Lets take a closer look at the ingredients:
Jamaican Black Castor oil: Believed to promote and support longer, thicker hair; used to moisturize dry hair and scalp
Emu oil: Contains an abundance of Essential Fatty Acids, penetrates deeply into skin

How to use it: Simply massage a bit of the oil into the affected areas once daily for 1-3 minutes. If used on just the edges of hair, one bottle should last 1-2 months.

As long as your hair follicles are not completely dead (as found in some male-pattern baldness/certain types of alopecia, etc.) it may be of help. It also contains botanicals that can help soften and condition your hair to prevent breakage, so that you keep more of your length. You can also use this as a hot oil treatment. It contains pure, golden jojoba oil (and castor and coconut oils in Dry hair formula), along with 26 other ingredients such as essential oils and herbs for hair growth from all over the world (including exotic Indian Amla, Burdock root, stinging nettle, ) that help grow soften and condition your hair. You would be hard pressed to find another hair oil with this many powerful natural ingredients! This formula is best for use on darker hair, as some of the ingredients may tint lighter hair (grey/white/blonde) when used over time. Since many people use WAY too much heat when heat styling, this product is not recommended for use with extreme heat styling. I am actual testament that this hyper EdgeGenesis works. I’ve got a lack of edges, doctors says it’s partially genetic partially caused by my anemia. I tried everything. JBCO, silk bonnets, silk scarves, satin pillowcases, etc. nothing would grow them AND retain them. Usually only one or the other and then back to square one. The worst part being that I had hair that grew long in other areas but my edges. I found this page while looking up edge hair loss on Etsy and ordered in the spring. I finally had good results and when my supply ran out, I tried switching to normal jbco. My growth stopped. I didn’t lose any but the hairs didn’t fill in as much as before. Now it’s Black Friday and I got the email about the sale and I had to stock up. I just bought 5!!! I never want to run out again. Using this product once or twice daily truly saved my baby hair.
