Our Herbal Blend contains:

• Fenugreek Essential Oil
• Peppermint Essential Oil
• Lavender Essential Oil

A little goes a long way. It easily coats the hair shaft, so you only need to use a little to benefit from this product.

You may use this:
• To help promote growth/ length retention
• For grooming in the same way you would use hair grease or light pomade
• As a hot oil or pre-poo treatment.
• On braids, locs & twists

It contains a premium blend of oils and is designed to promote healthy, soft and conditioned hair.

**Due to the Castor oil in this product, it is not suitable for low-porosity hair.**

Product Specs:
This is a 4 oz jar of product.
Texture: This product is a “jelly” or salve with a soft, flexible texture and thinner consistency. We do not add any petroleum by-products to this item.
Look: medium brown; color may vary from batch to batch.
Scent: Regular (with Fragrance): mildly sweet woody/earthy/nutty/mildly smoky/sesame-like scent.
Herbal Blend: earthy/nutty/mildly smoky/sesame-like scent with a peppermint note, along with a little bit of lavender.
Packaging: This product may come in EITHER a clear OR Brown plastic jar depending on what is in stock.

MELT WARNING- Salves, Hairdressings, Butters and other semi-solid to solid products are subject to melting when exposed to temperatures above 72 degrees. Depending on the season/temperature, this product may melt in transit to you. The product may still be fine to use, it just might lose its texture. In most cases, refrigeration or freezing for about 15-30 minutes may be sufficient to re-solidify it.
Despite our best efforts, there is no way for us to prevent melting unless maybe the items are shipped refrigerated overnight, which would cost approximately $30 extra in shipping.
To avoid melting and disappointment, please be mindful of the temperature where you are having this item shipped as we cannot control temperatures inside postal vehicles or inside your mailbox or wherever else your package may be delivered. For best results, you will want to avoid this product sitting outside of a climate-controlled environment (ie: inside a mailbox) for too long.

Ingredients (Herbal Blend): Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Vitamin E, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Trigonella Foenum-Graecum (Fenugreek) Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender).

To Use:
For styling: add a nickel sized amount of wax to hair and style as desired.
For Conditioning/Hair Care: simply apply a pea-sized amount to your fingertips. A little goes a long way, so no need to over do it and I KNOW it can be tempting.
Massage the jelly into your scalp with the pads of your fingers (or even better, with a battery-operated scalp massager) for 2-3 minutes, 3-4 times per week. You massage the scalp each day, even when not using oil.
After applying, you may gently brush hair from scalp to ends of hair to distribute the product evenly throughout your hair. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment before washing it out. If you have drier hair (as found in most African types of hair) you may leave this in, but it is recommended that you should wash your hair/scalp at least once a week.

A four ounce jar should last about 1-3 months depending on amount used and how often it is used. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment to help condition your hair, especially your ends, which tend to be the driest part of hair.
