Made by infusing huge amounts of Hibiscus (Indian/Ayurvedic Hibiscus – Rosa Sinesis as well as Sorrel Hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa), to create a very concentrated maceration, ounce for ounce. It also contains pure, Hibiscus essential oil, imported from India. This blend is made with Sunflower and Grapessed oils to make it suitable for low porosity hair, but we also have a version for Dry hair made with coconut oil.
What is Ayurvedic Hibiscus (Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis Linn)?
It contains Vitamin C, flavaoids, antioxidants, anthocyanins and more. Traditionally used to boost growth and for sleek, shiny, voluminous hair. Hibiscus has been long trusted for its conditioning properties that promote longer, stronger hair.
Available in both Regular Strength and Super Concentrated (double the concentration of the regular strength).
Why isn’t it red? Isn’t Hibiscus red? Yes, the hibiscus we use to infuse this oil is reddish-pink in color, however, when infused into the sunflower oil, and then strained off, the oil becomes a orange-yellow color (color may vary from batch to batch).
Recommended use: 3-4x per week, massage it in to scalp well for a couple of minutes and it can be used with the inversion method in which you bend at your waist, pointing your head downward whilst massaging the oil into your scalp (but only use the inversion method has been deemed safe for you by a physician- some people have conditions that may be aggravated by doing it).

The green does not color or stain hair, however, if you use hair color, please patch test on a small piece of hair before using on your whole head, as some people claim coconut oil may dull their hair dye/color job. How to use: you may use this to lubricate your scalp and hair, as often as you like. How to use: For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. The oil does have a low melting point and will become liquid at 76 degrees F (24 C). It will still be okay to use, but if it bothers you, simply pop the container into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or so until the oil is solid again. The green does not permanently color or stain hair, however, if you use hair color, please patch test on a small piece of hair before using on your whole head, as some people claim coconut oil may dull their hair dye job. How to use: you may use this to lubricate your scalp and hair, as often as you like. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method.
