Do you have slow growing hair? In the past, it took me a whole year to get my hair from 5 1/2 inches long to 8 inches long (typical hair growth is about 6 inches per year)! I became frustrated and did some research into how to grow hair, and found all of the most effective folk methods used around the world for long, strong, soft and shiny hair (India, Mexico, etc.) and came up with this powerful combo of herbs.

I started making an oil with the herbs by hand, using it on myself, but it wasn’t long before friends, family and associates were clamoring for me to make some for them! After being told “you should sell this stuff!” Here I am!
I have just recently begun to infuse these same botanicals and essential oils into a base of Castor Jelly, which looks and feels and acts very much like petroleum jelly, but is naturally derived and contains no petrochemicals. It is quite thick and is designed to be used sparingly (A little goes a LONG way!) depending upon your hair’s level of oiliness. The texture is very similar to old-school hair grease/hairdressing.

Due to Castor Jelly’s heaviness, this product is not suitable for low-porosity hair.

How does it work?
As long as your hair follicles are not completely dead (as found in some male-pattern baldness/certain types of alopecia, etc.) it may be of help. It also contains botanicals that can help soften and condition your hair to prevent breakage, so that you keep more of your length. You can also use this as a hot oil treatment. It contains pure, golden jojoba oil, castor oil, castor jelly and coconut oil, along with 26 other ingredients such as essential oils and herbs for hair growth from all over the world (including exotic Indian Amla, Burdock root, stinging nettle, to promote healthy, soft and conditioned hair. You would be hard pressed to find another hair oil with this many powerful natural ingredients! This formula is best for use on darker hair, as some of the ingredients can tint lighter hair, so if you have light hair, please try our another of our oils instead.

Since many people use WAY too much heat when heat styling, this product is not recommended for use with extreme heat styling. I very rarely use heat, but I only do so on low settings with heat protectant in my hair. Since oils can get very hot, using heat styling tools that are too hot may damage the hair. Specs:
Texture: This product has a texture similar to petroleum jelly.
Look: Medium-dark brown; color may vary from batch to batch. The herbs/botanicals may be visible throughout.
Scent: The Regular/Unscented Smells deeply herbaceous – a bit like mulch with a touch of pepper and camphor. The Peppermint formula smells like peppermint, but you will still be able to smell a little of the herbaceous/mulch-like scent with a touch of pepper and camphor.
Packaging: This product may come in EITHER a clear OR Brown plastic jar depending on what is in stock.
What is the difference in formulas?: Super Concentrated & Regular Strength have SAME ingredients, Super concentrated just has more of the actives and less of Castor Jelly. Regular Strength is diluted, and is basically 1/2 Super Concentrated formula, and 1/2 plain Castor jelly.

MELT WARNING- Salves, Hairdressings, Butters and other semi-solid to solid products are subject to melting when exposed to temperatures above 72 degrees. Depending on the season/temperature, this product may melt in transit to you. The product may still be fine to use, it just might lose its texture. In most cases, refrigeration or freezing for about 15-30 minutes may be sufficient to re-solidify it.
Despite our best efforts, there is no way for us to prevent melting unless maybe the items are shipped refrigerated overnight, which would cost approximately $30 extra in shipping.
To avoid melting and disappointment, please be mindful of the temperature where you are having this item shipped as we cannot control temperatures inside postal vehicles or inside your mailbox or wherever else your package may be delivered. For best results, you will want to avoid this product sitting outside of a climate-controlled environment (ie: inside a mailbox) for too long.

To Use:
You simply apply a small amount to your fingertips. A little goes a long way, so no need to over do it and I KNOW it can be tempting. Massage the jelly into your scalp with the pads of your fingers (or even better, with a battery-operated scalp massager) for 2-3 minutes, 3-4 times per week. You massage the scalp each day, even when not using oil. You may also apply some of the Jelly to your hair if you like.
After applying oil, you may feel some slight tingling in your scalp within the first 5 minutes. After applying, you may gently brush hair from scalp to ends of hair to distribute the product evenly throughout your hair. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment before washing it out. If you have drier hair (as found in most African types of hair) you may leave this in, but it is recommended that you should wash your hair/scalp at least once a week.
A four ounce jar should last about 1-3 months depending on amount used and how often the oil is used. You may also use this as a hot oil treatment to help condition your hair, especially your ends, which tend to be the driest part of hair.

WARNING: *This product is not for use by women who are pregnant or nursing. It is also not for those who are prone to headaches/migraines should take caution as the act of massaging the oil on the scalp may lead to some discomfort.

Why is it so expensive?
You truly get what you pay for with this product. It is chock-full of botanicals that are expensive and some that are even rare, it is all natural and made by hand. Additionally, no one else makes this product- it is our own exclusive, secret recipe that took quite some time to develop.

FAQ

Q: Does this product make hair grow thicker?

A: It may help make hair appear thicker as it re-grows from breakage and damage. Otherwise, hair thickness is determined by genetics, which controls how many individual hair follicles you have on your head at birth. Some people have tons of hair follicles, and others have less. Some people’s individual hairs are fine and others’ are coarse. My product, as wonderful as it is, will not change your genetic structure, cause the individual hairs to be permanently thicker or create more hair follicles on your head – no known topical treatment can.

Q: Will you sell me the recipe so I can make it at home?

A: No way. This recipe is really one of a kind and there is no way I would sell the recipe. Not even for $50,000 dollars. If you have $100,000, then maybe we can talk 🙂 Besides, if you purchased all the materials to make this at home it would cost you about 4 times as much than if you just bought a bottle of it already made.

Q: Is there any Mineral Oil in this formula?

A: No. There is absolutely no mineral oil in this formula.

Q: How long will it take to work?

A: As much as we know people want to see a definitive answer on this, the truth is it is impossible to predict. It really depends greatly on the present condition of your hair, your diet/vitamin regimen, any health conditions you may have, your hair care regimen and whether you use any chemical or heat processes on your hair. No honest seller will make a specific claim, because since everyone is different and treats their hair differently it would be impossible to determine specific results. For example, one customer may use this product and also treat their hair well (no heat or chemicals, taking the time to detangle properly and use “protective” styling methods) and gain 6-8 inches in a year. Another customer may use a flat iron frequently or a relaxer and end up experiencing damage and breakage, resulting in only 3-4 inches gained in one year. It isn’t that the hair did not grow, but it broke off just as fast as it grew.

*All jars contain 4 ounces though not filled to the top. 4 ounces is about where the indented part of the top of the jar meets the rest of the jar wall.
