Specs: The finished product is a very fragrant, creamy off-white, semi-solid oil with visible specs of precious Ayurevedic herbs peppered throughout. The oil does have a low melting point and will become liquid at 76 degrees F (24 C). It will still be okay to use, but if it bothers you, simply pop the container into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or so until the oil is solid again. We don’t skimp on the ingredients! All of Asha + Miel formulas are made using generous amounts of the active ingredients. So when you purchase a product made with Amla for example, be assured that you are getting generous amounts of it in your product.
How to use: work a small amount of product into scalp and hair from roots to ends. If using as a pre-poo, or deep conditioning mask: apply to hair, cover with a shower cap or conditioning cap and cover that with a cloth hair bonnet or scarf and leave on for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight for maximum conditioning. What's the difference between Super Concentrated and Regular Formula?: Regular formula is Super Concentrated diluted by half with Olive oil to make it more affordable. How do you use it? Simply part your hair and using the bottle's applicator tip, put a few drops of oil onto your scalp (Apply sparingly). Massage the oil into the scalp and then smooth through the length of your hair. Keep parting your hair about 1/2 to 1 inch apart and repeat the previous step until entire scalp has been covered with oil. Finally, squeeze a small amount of oil into your hands and apply it to the ends of your hair. You may either proceed to style your hair or use a conditioning cap and let it sit for an hour before washing out. I make the oil part of this conditioner using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. I use real cow's milk (for the vitamins) and fresh coconut meat from a whole coconut I crack open myself (never pre-shredded or pre-prepared coconut). The finished product is a a green tinted clear oil which is blended with purified water and emulsifier to produce this creamy, effective conditioner.
