Specs: The finished product is a very fragrant, creamy off-white, semi-solid oil with visible specs of precious Ayurevedic herbs peppered throughout. The oil does have a low melting point and will become liquid at 76 degrees F (24 C). It will still be okay to use, but if it bothers you, simply pop the container into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or so until the oil is solid again. We don’t skimp on the ingredients! All of Asha + Miel formulas are made using generous amounts of the active ingredients. So when you purchase a product made with Amla for example, be assured that you are getting generous amounts of it in your product.
How to use: work a small amount of product into scalp and hair from roots to ends. If using as a pre-poo, or deep conditioning mask: apply to hair, cover with a shower cap or conditioning cap and cover that with a cloth hair bonnet or scarf and leave on for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight for maximum conditioning. I make this blend using the somewhat tedious Ayurvedic technique of making a Kashayam. This is vegan, made without animal products. The finished product is a beautiful, greenish tinted oil that does not color or stain hair. What can you do with this oil: Hot oil deep conditioning Daily scalp massage Use in daily styling Use on ends to protect against dryness and breakage Specs: translucent green-brown colored oil- it is fractionated so that it stays liquid. Comes in a squeezable plastic bottle with a spout for easy application to the scalp. This oil is on the lightweight/thinner side. How to use: you may use this to condition your scalp and hair, as often as you like. *All bottles contain 4 fluid ounces, so you will get every drop you paid for, but bottles will not be filled to the top. For best results, use daily by massaging into the scalp, lubricating the ends of hair as needed. Even better results can be achieved when using in conjunction with GHE (the greenhouse effect) or the inversion (Power Growth) method. Instructions on how to do these methods will be included with your order*. Just be aware that this and all oils can stain clothing, so it's best to apply the oil before you get dressed or in clothes you don't mind getting stained.
